Renata’s at the Biltmore
Renata’s Hearth, located inside the luxurious Arizona Biltmore Resort, recently underwent a major remodel by Arizona interior design firm PHX Archictecture, whose extensive experience in Hospitality design is evident in the expertly curated resort restaurant. The team at PHX worked to preserve the historic influences while modernizing the dining room and patio, seamlessly blending old with new, adding contemporary flair while balancing the eatery with the iconic hotel’s preexisting spaces.
The Biltmore itself has a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired design and boasts a rich history–among other notable events, the Tequila Sunrise was invented here at the hotel’s famed Wright Bar in the 1930’s. In the past, celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, and numerous U.S presidents flocked to relax by the renowned bar and pool.
Inside the upscale Latin restaurant, cozy booths and long, elegant tables allow for flexible dining options, accommodating parties of different sizes in the restaurant’s main dining area, patio, and intimate coves. Transparent partitions featuring portraits of Southwestern women serve a dual purpose, creating separate spaces within the restaurant while nodding to Arizona’s culture and the spirit of Renata, the mythical pioneer woman for whom the restaurant is named.
